Peter Tros charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Tros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Tros kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Rene Yarritu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Guia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramos Cardigondi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Rene Yarritu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Ramos Cardigondi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Cuenca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teresita Von del Maso FC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, UD Cuenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramos Cardigondi to maneuver through the defense. Rene Yarritu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Guia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alonso Candanedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teresita Von del Maso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Candanedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Chandeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sergio Guia came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the UD Cuenca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Guia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Guia in the 29th minute of play forced Teresita Von del Maso FC's goalkeeper Rene Yarritu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ramos Cardigondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cuenca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramos Cardigondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teresita Von del Maso FC's Rene Yarritu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Teresita Von del Maso FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Guia made a kick off. Ramos Cardigondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sergio Guia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramos Cardigondi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Yarritu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Guia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Sergio Guia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Cuenca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ramos Cardigondi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramos Cardigondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramos Cardigondi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Yarritu saved Teresita Von del Maso FC from getting behind. Rene Yarritu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Sergio Guia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rene Yarritu. If Ramos Cardigondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Teresita Von del Maso FC's goalkeeper Rene Yarritu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, UD Cuenca's Ramos Cardigondi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Yarritu was left in no man's land by his defense there! UD Cuenca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
