Urbano Fontao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ovidio Arlines made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Titaicun SC's zone, Urbano Fontao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Arlines came out of the goal and Urbano Fontao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Urbano Fontao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Arlines saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Marcelino Santos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Titaicun SC's protests and gave Marcelino Santos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Marcelino Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Arlines. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Fontao in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Arlines saved Titaicun SC from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, Titaicun SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Eguia to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Fontao in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Arlines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Titaicun SC's zone, Rodolfo Paba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Arlines came out of the goal and Rodolfo Paba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Fontao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ovidio Arlines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Sopena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Fontao in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Arlines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbano Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Urbano Fontao came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the C.S.D. MACARA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Fontao couldn't finish the play. Urbano Fontao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Arlines having to interfere. After some careless play in the Titaicun SC defense, Rodolfo Paba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Arlines. The Titaicun SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Arlines should have stopped the shot. When Urbano Fontao came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the C.S.D. MACARA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Fontao couldn't finish the play.

Ovidio Arlines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Fontao in the 54th minute of play. Urbano Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titaicun SC's Ovidio Arlines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Fontao in the 60th minute of play. Ovidio Arlines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Fontao in the 62nd minute of play. Vasco Atilano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ovidio Arlines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Fontao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Titaicun SC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Eguia. If Urbano Fontao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Fontao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Arlines having to interfere. In the 76th minute Urbano Fontao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Arlines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Boris Eguia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Titaicun SC and the C.S.D. MACARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Titaicun SC's Boris Eguia got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Fontao in the 79th minute of play forced Titaicun SC's goalkeeper Ovidio Arlines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urbano Fontao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ovidio Arlines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Rodolfo Paba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.D. MACARA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Paba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
