The Mullquindil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Videl Mendecute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alexander Tenorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocafuerte Fútbol Club's Zoilo Camarero got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vera Olavarrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tenorio having to interfere. In the 17th minute Vera Olavarrieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Tenorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vera Olavarrieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Tenorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Vera Olavarrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tenorio having to interfere. Mullquindil FC's Gonzales Varez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mullquindil FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rocafuerte Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Graziani Boiro hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Zoilo Camarero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mullquindil FC's Gonzales Varez. Gonzales Varez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexander Tenorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vera Olavarrieta in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hurtado Trasgallo made a kick off. Hurtado Trasgallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzales Varez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hurtado Trasgallo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzales Varez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Rocafuerte Fútbol Club booed when Mullquindil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ataulfo Logares didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mullquindil FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ruben Ustoa hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Rocafuerte Fútbol Club's Zoilo Camarero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzales Varez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Hurtado Trasgallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzales Varez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mullquindil FC's Luis Solier got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gonzales Varez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurtado Trasgallo in the 68th minute of play. Gonzales Varez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurtado Trasgallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mullquindil FC's Videl Mendecute got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vera Olavarrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rocafuerte Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ferrer Sanguino hit a great ball. Vera Olavarrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alexander Tenorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzales Varez came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Rocafuerte Fútbol Club's Hurtado Trasgallo. But to his dismay, Hurtado Trasgallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mullquindil FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rocafuerte Fútbol Club had won, even though Mullquindil FC had held more of the ball.
