Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Antonio Valencia made the kick off and thus started the match. Antonio Valencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Urdin Piñango tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Zurica. 9 minutes into the match, Moradilla FC's Santiago Lama sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Cereceda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Guayaquil FC's zone, Santiago Lama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Cereceda came out of the goal and Santiago Lama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urdin Piñango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Valencia in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Henry Goicoechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Diaz Oliva in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moradilla FC's Zuberoa Puertas. 22 minutes into the game, Santiago Lama recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edson Cereceda. Santiago Lama showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Henry Goicoechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Moradilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Goicoechea came free, but Urdin Piñango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umbruso Malpica hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Moradilla FC's Santiago Lama nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edson Cereceda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Castillo got free with Edson Cereceda in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Castillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Goicoechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urdin Piñango having to interfere. In the 56th minute of the match, Henry Goicoechea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Urdin Piñango was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zarbonin Pozuelos during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moradilla FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Zarbonin Pozuelos hit a great ball. Diaz Oliva hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Valencia in the 62nd minute of play forced Moradilla FC's goalkeeper Urdin Piñango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Moradilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuñiga Carnicero to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Asuaga charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Asuaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Moradilla FC's Mauricio Asuaga got a free kick in the 66th minute. Antonio Valencia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Henry Goicoechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urdin Piñango having to interfere. After some careless play in the Inter de Guayaquil FC defense, Agustin Castillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson Cereceda. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson Cereceda should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Agustin Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Cereceda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zarbonin Pozuelos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute, Zarbonin Pozuelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urdin Piñango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Zurica in the 86th minute of the match. Marcelo Zurica kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Edson Cereceda didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Moradilla FC's Zuñiga Carnicero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Moradilla FC had won after a very even match.
