Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lastra Busta took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jacobo Urdapileta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Xzavier Cobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Jacobo Urdapileta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xzavier Cobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jacobo Urdapileta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monkey D Luffy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Urdapileta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavier Cobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuñiga Alire in the 19th minute of play forced Genova's goalkeeper Xzavier Cobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xzavier Cobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuñiga Alire, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pascual Posada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavier Cobo having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monkey D Luffy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Virila Ocouto, was totally fooled by Genova's Jose Castellano, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 34th minute Pascual Posada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavier Cobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aguinaga Reboredo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genova's protests and gave Aguinaga Reboredo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Genova's Aguinaga Reboredo got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Zuñiga Alire came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Monkey D Luffy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuñiga Alire couldn't finish the play. Zuñiga Alire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zuñiga Alire took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xzavier Cobo. Xzavier Cobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Lastra Busta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virila Ocouto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Lastra Busta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes of play, Monkey D Luffy's Zuñiga Alire made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzavier Cobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virila Ocouto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Castellano in the 70th minute of the match. If Lastra Busta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xuaco Piedra hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Zuñiga Alire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xzavier Cobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuñiga Alire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuñiga Alire got free with Xzavier Cobo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chucho Menor made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jose Castellano however managed to control. When the final whistle sounded Monkey D Luffy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Genova.
