With an all-out effort, Argos Football Club's Carnero Herruz threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edwin Honorato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Veto Guinea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Edwin Honorato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carnero Herruz. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Argos Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Eliasson came free, but Ugaitz Echaniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carnero Herruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Honorato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Renacimiento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veto Guinea to maneuver through the defense. Veto Guinea struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ugaitz Echaniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Renacimiento FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veto Guinea made a kick off. Carnero Herruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Honorato in the 54th minute of the match. Henning Eliasson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ugaitz Echaniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Renacimiento FC. 60 minutes into the match, Edwin Honorato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carnero Herruz. Renacimiento FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Honorato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Veto Guinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renacimiento FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Veto Guinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ugaitz Echaniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 67 in the game by Veto Guinea from a close distance when the talented Ugaitz Echaniz managed to make a qualified save. Argos Football Club's players were relieved. Veto Guinea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Ugaitz Echaniz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rene Lozano charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Lozano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Renacimiento FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. After 86 played minutes, Argos Football Club's Edwin Says shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carnero Herruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Argos Football Club reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Edwin Honorato notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Renacimiento FC's Carnero Herruz. Carnero Herruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Argos Football Club's Edwin Says got a free kick in the 90th minute. Veto Guinea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renacimiento FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Argos Football Club had won, even though Renacimiento FC had held more of the ball.
