After 12 played minutes UD Gualchan got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Llames. When Insua Ruales came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the UD Gualchan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Insua Ruales couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Llames during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Humberto Llames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes UD Gualchan got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Llames. Humberto Llames was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to UD Gualchan getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Humberto Llames hit a great ball. The supporters of UD Landazuri booed when UD Gualchan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urki Sierralta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbes Forcen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Insua Ruales in the 34th minute of play. Urbes Forcen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Insua Ruales's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Urki Sierralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes of play, UD Gualchan's Insua Ruales made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbes Forcen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Insua Ruales got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Urbes Forcen was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Graziani Verdaguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Landazuri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Gualchan the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Graziani Verdaguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Insua Ruales in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbes Forcen saved UD Landazuri from getting behind. Pinto Gimenez was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Marcelo Monelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Monelo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Maximo Freiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Insua Ruales in the 72nd minute of play forced UD Landazuri's goalkeeper Urbes Forcen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pinto Gimenez having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Xavier Rivera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 81st minute, UD Landazuri's Marcelo Monelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 86th minute of the match Urki Sierralta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urbes Forcen skillfully saved the ball. If Insua Ruales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urki Sierralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Urbes Forcen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
