Rios Limon hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Pedro Aliprando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Christobal Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Cagua Gago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Proano and the Cotosaz SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Gurbista in the 37th minute of play forced Cotosaz SC's goalkeeper Xavon Ardanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Nobal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ataulfo Candelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christobal Torres was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cotosaz SC's zone, Bottero Agrelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavon Ardanza came out of the goal and Bottero Agrelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, Cotosaz SC's Urtsin Tarulla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christobal Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Pedro Aliprando notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CD Proano's Christobal Torres. Christobal Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pedro Aliprando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ataulfo Candelo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christobal Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cotosaz SC's Ataulfo Candelo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Proano's goalie prevented a goal. Urtsin Tarulla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christobal Torres having to make a save. Rolando Gurbista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Xavon Ardanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
