Río Amarillo F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juan Miguel Miller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Krpananda Lalthangsanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, CD Huertas's Michael Moral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, CD Huertas's Michael Moral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Cabrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Río Amarillo F.C.'s Romulo Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Roque in the 20th minute of play. Allan Shearer's late challenge caught a CD Huertas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Shearer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Río Amarillo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Shearer to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes CD Huertas got a freekick which was hit by Michael Moral. Krpananda Lalthangsanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaven Riofrio having to interfere. Krpananda Lalthangsanga charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krpananda Lalthangsanga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Río Amarillo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krpananda Lalthangsanga to maneuver through the defense. If Juan Miguel Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Miguel Miller made a kick off. Daniel Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Romulo Cabrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, CD Huertas's Michael Moral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Cabrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, CD Huertas's goalkeeper Xaven Riofrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Miguel Miller. Juan Miguel Miller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Xaven Riofrio made a huge save. Juan Miguel Miller might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xaven Riofrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Miguel Miller ran back to his position shaking his head. If Juan Miguel Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Río Amarillo F.C. defense, John Arrojo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Cabrero. The Río Amarillo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Cabrero should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, one of Río Amarillo F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Río Amarillo F.C.. If Juan Miguel Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krpananda Lalthangsanga took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xaven Riofrio. Xaven Riofrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 90 minutes into the match, Río Amarillo F.C.'s Juan Miguel Miller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xaven Riofrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krpananda Lalthangsanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaven Riofrio having to interfere. Allan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xano Noriega during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
