Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Juan Miguel Miller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Romerillos SC booed when Río Amarillo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Miguel Miller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Cabrero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Romerillos SC's Erick Torre shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Juan Miguel Miller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Río Amarillo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Miguel Miller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pancho Montiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Romerillos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Krpananda Lalthangsanga came free, but Pancho Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Río Amarillo F.C. defense, Erick Torre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Cabrero. The Río Amarillo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Cabrero should have stopped the shot. Juan Miguel Miller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Allan Shearer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Río Amarillo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romerillos SC the free kick. A collision led to Río Amarillo F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Allan Shearer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Río Amarillo F.C.'s Xoan Carrasquedo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Erick Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Cabrero having to interfere. Río Amarillo F.C.'s Romulo Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elkin Ballina in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erick Torre made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Erick Torre took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Romulo Cabrero to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Río Amarillo F.C.'s Romulo Cabrero got control of the ball when León Pedraja tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Romerillos SC's zone, Xoan Carrasquedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pancho Montiel came out of the goal and Xoan Carrasquedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Río Amarillo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Erick Torre scored to the left of an out of position Romulo Cabrero, making the score, 0-4. Río Amarillo F.C.'s Romulo Cabrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Río Amarillo F.C. from getting a goal against them. Pancho Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Miguel Miller in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Juan Miguel Miller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pancho Montiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Torre in the 75th minute of play forced Río Amarillo F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Río Amarillo F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Cabrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Malo. In the 79th minute, Juan Miguel Miller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pancho Montiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Juan Miguel Miller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pancho Montiel having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Juan Miguel Miller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Romerillos SC's zone, Allan Shearer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pancho Montiel came out of the goal and Allan Shearer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pancho Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Río Amarillo F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Romerillos SC to win.
