The crowd rose to their feet as Urko Navedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Reguilon. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. Zornin Trexo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jose Reguilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Alacranes SC booed when Deportivo Libertad F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xesus Ribalta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Reguilon came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Libertad F.C.'s Zornin Trexo. But to his dismay, Zornin Trexo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urko Navedo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Urko Navedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Libertad F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Urko Navedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Evelio Laguardia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Zornin Trexo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Libertad F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yiyo Septiem. 81 minutes into the game, William Campa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alacranes SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Libertad F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Alacranes SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. William Campa hit a great ball. Zornin Trexo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Reguilon having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Alacranes SC's Iachetti Jorrin threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xzavion Majua, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xzavion Majua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iachetti Jorrin having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alacranes SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Libertad F.C..
