In the 3rd match minute, CD Chasqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Quijano to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Arrateguibel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Urtsin Caceo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Agustín Estua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtsin Caceo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Parisi Alday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CD Chasqui booed when UD Galpan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Fombona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsin Caceo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Estua in the 19th minute of the match. CD Chasqui's Urtsin Caceo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Arrateguibel in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, UD Galpan's Costante Legazpi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Agustín Estua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtsin Caceo having to interfere. A collision led to CD Chasqui getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Parisi Alday hit a great ball. If Agustín Estua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Arrateguibel scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urtsin Caceo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Arrateguibel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Arrateguibel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtsin Caceo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The CD Chasqui players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UD Galpan were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustín Estua to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, UD Galpan's goal looked a bit too open when Parisi Alday came free, but Ordóñez Herruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Agustín Estua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtsin Caceo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
