Marco Salmeron went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Montalvo Noya drilling the ball in to score 4-0 behind UD Babahoyo's goalkeeper. The audience was convinced that Asencio Palou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klimowitz Hortuño was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Xurxo Rucabado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
