Pichangal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lopez Godan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Quetara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pichangal FC's Ubaldo Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Quetara in the 44th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Mocoli Golf Club's Eugenio Azcarate made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Eugenio Azcarate's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Ubaldo Polo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venceslao Morillo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Enrico Zubillaga struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jorge Borras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pichangal FC. Alberto Trueba got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mocoli Golf Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pichangal FC the free kick.
