Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. ATC's Yépez Fias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17thth minute of the game Gomez Periquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tristeza's Videl Valdeliso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tristeza's Videl Valdeliso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomez Periquet in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ATC's Yépez Fias got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gomez Periquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Videl Valdeliso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, ATC's Antonio Repiso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Videl Valdeliso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Gomez Periquet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Videl Valdeliso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Tristeza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gomez Periquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. ATC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Hendrickx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristeza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Antonio Repiso scored to the left of an out of position Videl Valdeliso, making the score, 0-9. Videl Valdeliso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gomez Periquet's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 90 minutes, Gomez Periquet made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Tristeza's Videl Valdeliso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Zeledon Bargues threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATC's Yépez Fias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ATC played a much better game than Tristeza and deserved their victory. The Tristeza players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
