Blanco Santa's late challenge caught a Tristeza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blanco Santa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Blanco Santa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante Negro FC's zone, Moises Eradi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moreno Langarica came out of the goal and Moises Eradi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blanco Santa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Fabian Bellmunt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aurelio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Videl Valdeliso having to interfere. In the 13th minute Fabian Bellmunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Valdeliso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Diamante Negro FC booed when Tristeza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Torrealba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Videl Valdeliso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Abeitia went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Tristeza's zone, Fabian Bellmunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Videl Valdeliso came out of the goal and Fabian Bellmunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Diamante Negro FC's Fabian Bellmunt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tristeza's goalkeeper Videl Valdeliso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Angel Rico fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante Negro FC's protests and gave Angel Rico a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Bellmunt in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Videl Valdeliso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Moises Eradi came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moreno Langarica could save by the left post. Fabian Bellmunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Videl Valdeliso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Bellmunt ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 69 minutes, Fabian Bellmunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamante Negro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Bellmunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes in the game Zeledon Bargues did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Paredes Villaseñor. After 72 played minutes Diamante Negro FC got a freekick which was hit by Vilson Gadea. 74 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro FC's goalkeeper Moreno Langarica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Turiel. In the 77th minute Fabian Bellmunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Valdeliso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moreno Langarica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paredes Villaseñor in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Diamante Negro FC got a freekick which was hit by Zamora Lerin. Angel Rico hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Fabian Bellmunt came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Diamante Negro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Bellmunt couldn't finish the play. Moreno Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paredes Villaseñor in the 89th minute of the match. Fleitas Arambula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Videl Valdeliso having to interfere. Fabian Bellmunt struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Videl Valdeliso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro FC. Diamante Negro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
