Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Arroyo FC's Xabier Villornate got control of the ball when Alvaro Salsoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iachetti Morell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efrain Romo. Prophecy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xabier Villornate made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Alvaro Salsoro sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Rodolfo Ponga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Uceda in the 21st minute of the match. Efrain Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Villaquiran in the 26th minute of play. Alvaro Salsoro scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xabier Villornate, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Arroyo FC's Iachetti Morell got a free kick in the 30th minute. Peter Uceda kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alvaro Salsoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabier Villornate having to interfere. When Samuel Cedillo in the 40th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Xabier Villornate kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 45th minute, Iachetti Morell had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Mauro Bado charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Bado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cruz Villaquiran was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Romo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cruz Villaquiran sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Salsoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Xabier Villornate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Prophecy's Rodolfo Ponga got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cruz Villaquiran got free with Efrain Romo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Arroyo FC defense, Alvaro Salsoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xabier Villornate. The Arroyo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xabier Villornate should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Salsoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Xabier Villornate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruz Villaquiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Romo having to interfere. Rodolfo Ponga hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cruz Villaquiran struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Efrain Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyo FC. If Alvaro Salsoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Arroyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Salsoro came free, but Xabier Villornate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Alvaro Salsoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Xabier Villornate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xabier Villornate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Salsoro in the 86th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Alvaro Salsoro sped through Arroyo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xabier Villornate. 90 minutes into the game, Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xabier Villornate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Alvaro Salsoro put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xabier Villornate. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arroyo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Prophecy.
