In the 77th minute, Chumblin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aurelio Abeitia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot by Marquez Tovilleja from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Mendez Millan's attention. The referee ignored Diamante Negro FC's protests and gave Blanco Santa a yellow card for diving instead.
