The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Ponga charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Ponga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chumblin booed when Prophecy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ponga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urdaspal Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mendez Millan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 minutes, Alvaro Salsoro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chumblin's Mendez Millan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Prophecy's zone, Urdaspal Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Romo came out of the goal and Urdaspal Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Salsoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mendez Millan was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Chumblin's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Cedillo came free, but Mendez Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alvaro Salsoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Romo was a little too slow when Urdaspal Serrano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-3. 36 minutes into the game, Alvaro Salsoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mendez Millan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute Samuel Cedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendez Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Salsoro in the 45th minute of play forced Chumblin's goalkeeper Mendez Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Salsoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Alvaro Salsoro in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luis Rodil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mendez Millan having to interfere. Prophecy's attack was well implemented in the 61st minute, but when Samuel Cedillo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 62 minutes into the match, Chumblin's goalkeeper Mendez Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Salsoro. Fidel Rollan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Prophecy getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rodolfo Ponga hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Prophecy's Enrique Tixido got a free kick in the 69th minute. Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Alvaro Salsoro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mendez Millan. Alvaro Salsoro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Samuel Cedillo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Prophecy got a freekick which was hit by Federico Ozaolaza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urdaspal Serrano in the 84th minute of play forced Prophecy's goalkeeper Efrain Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonso Torrado charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonso Torrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mendez Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Salsoro in the 90th minute of the match. Prophecy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
