In the 10th minute Ariel Huberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umbruso Losa came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Weather Estivariz could save by the left post. Weather Estivariz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umbruso Losa went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Zayveon Portugal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Saint George FC were awarded a corner. Pedro Seral went to the cornerflag to take it. Saint George FC's Pedro Seral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Weather Estivariz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 28 played minutes Saint George FC got a freekick which was hit by Paiva Mata. The supporters of Saint George FC booed when Mendez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomon Flayre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weather Estivariz was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Urritz Aquejano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Urritz Aquejano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Mendez FC's Saritama Alejandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Aragones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The tension between the Mendez FC and the Saint George FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Mendez FC's goalkeeper Weather Estivariz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umbruso Losa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umbruso Losa made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ariel Huberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint George FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Huberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Mendez FC got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Flayre. Weather Estivariz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umbruso Losa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weather Estivariz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuri Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Salomon Flayre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
