Denis Maximino scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Weather Estivariz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Aranzubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Barcelona Sporting Club's Eusebio Aranzubia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weather Estivariz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mendez FC's Weather Estivariz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Maximino in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zayveon Portugal got free with Ovidio Milio in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Denis Maximino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Arrugueta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Barcelona Sporting Club's Denis Maximino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ramón Arrugueta kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Guido Cuartio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Weather Estivariz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diego Gracia kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Maximino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Maximinos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Weather Estivariz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute Eusebio Aranzubia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Denis Maximino could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Weather Estivariz however easily saved by the left post. Salomon Flayre hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Eusebio Aranzubia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Weather Estivariz came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebio Aranzubia slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Denis Maximino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Maximino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Weather Estivariz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mendez FC's Weather Estivariz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mendez FC from getting a goal against them. Oswaldo Graña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ovidio Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Maximino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Weather Estivariz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zayveon Portugal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Weather Estivariz was a little too slow when Mauro Salvado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Eusebio Aranzubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Eusebio Aranzubia took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Weather Estivariz to make any attempt to save it. The Mendez FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barcelona Sporting Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
