The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Diz in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximen Valben saved Stratovarius from getting behind. Ximen Valben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Diz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limonal FC's Edson Diz got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Villagra Avellano fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stratovarius's protests and gave Villagra Avellano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Limonal FC booed when Stratovarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villagra Avellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Pujargimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ximen Valben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximen Valben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Diz in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Stratovarius's goal looked a bit too open when Xamo Suane came free, but Ximen Valben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Limonal FC's Edson Diz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ximen Valben was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ximen Valben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villagra Comparada, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Edson Diz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Limonal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Diz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Diz in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximen Valben saved Stratovarius from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Diz in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ximen Valben prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Villagra Comparada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ximen Valben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edson Diz was the one to do the kick off. Villagra Avellano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ximen Valben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Diz in the 55th minute of the match. Edson Diz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximen Valben having to interfere. Stratovarius's Ximen Valben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Diz in the 62nd minute of play. Edson Diz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ximen Valben skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ximen Valben made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xamo Suane in the 69th minute. Hurtado Aeta kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Xamo Suane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Limonal FC's Edson Diz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Limonal FC's Edson Diz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Limonal FC booed when Stratovarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Bebias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Villagra Comparada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ximen Valben was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Limonal FC's Edson Diz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stratovarius's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Diz in the 87th minute of play forced Stratovarius's goalkeeper Ximen Valben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Edson Diz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Huera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Diz in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ximen Valben prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xamo Suane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Limonal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stratovarius.
