Krister Bergdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Losa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rodrigo Lamarta kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morán Gurendes in the 9th minute of play forced Saint George FC's goalkeeper Marco Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, AC Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximun Castruita to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Lamarta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Aragones, 1-0. Ariel Huberto took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krister Bergdal. Krister Bergdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Krister Bergdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umbruso Losa in the 23rd minute of the match. Marco Aragones was a little too slow when Leonides Alaiza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. Fred Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Lamarta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Florida's Fred Meireles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Aragones. That made the score 3-1 after 39 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Morán Gurendes took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Marco Aragones to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Umbruso Losa made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umbruso Losa got free with Krister Bergdal in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Saint George FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Rendain to maneuver through the defense. When AC Florida's Morán Gurendes in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saint George FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Eugenio Courel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AC Florida's Rodrigo Lamarta got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Rodrigo Lamarta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morán Gurendes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Aragones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Florida's David Kyrst was substituted for Fred Meireles. In the 86thth minute of the game Morán Gurendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint George FC's Marco Aragones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Kyrst in the 90th minute of play forced Saint George FC's goalkeeper Marco Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Kyrst struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marco Aragones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Florida. Saint George FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
