Valencia Reigadas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Limonal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ibarra Vedeja came free, but Valencia Reigadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuenca S. C.'s Yambay Orsini got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Yambay Orsini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuenca S. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Yambay Orsini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edson Diz to make the kick off. Valencia Reigadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yambay Orsini, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ibarra Vedeja took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valencia Reigadas. Valencia Reigadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Augusto Asencio was a little too slow when Edson Diz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 14-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cuenca S. C. had played much better football throughout.
