Parisi Regalado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morán Gurendes in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Chisulchi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Meireles came free, but Parisi Regalado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morán Gurendes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Parisi Regalado saved Chisulchi FC from getting behind. In the 10th match minute, Chisulchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrido Revenga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when León Pizarro got free with Krister Bergdal in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 23 minutes, Fred Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Morán Gurendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Florida's supporters rose to their feet, but Morán Gurendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Parisi Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fred Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Parisi Regalado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Lamarta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Parisi Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morán Gurendes to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Lamarta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parisi Regalado having to interfere. If Morán Gurendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Zenon Landaluce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Meireles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Parisi Regalado having to make a save. AC Florida's David Kyrst was substituted for Fred Meireles. The audience was convinced that Morán Gurendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Parisi Regalado was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. AC Florida's Fricson Torrez was substituted for Leoncio Antoñana. Morán Gurendes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 88th play minutes Morán Gurendes shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Parisi Regalado and just under the crossbar into goal. Krister Bergdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Tavira in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute León Pizarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Bergdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Florida played a much better game than Chisulchi FC and deserved their victory. The Chisulchi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
