Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcel Bury kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Marcel Bury notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.D Quito's Xaven Lortia. Xaven Lortia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xaven Lortia came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdansk Football Club's Pedro Soldevilla. But to his dismay, Pedro Soldevilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Verdansk Football Club's Dannes Lerma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Aberasturi in the 15th minute of play. Verdansk Football Club's Bagui Soldevilla got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Verdansk Football Club's goalkeeper Dannes Lerma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Carro. After a defensive mix-up in Verdansk Football Club's zone, Felipe Torroba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dannes Lerma came out of the goal and Felipe Torroba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Verdansk Football Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bagui Soldevilla hit a great ball. Pedro Soldevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes S.D Quito got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Aberasturi.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Castells made a kick off. When S.D Quito's Victorio Carro in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verdansk Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Dannes Lerma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Aberasturi in the 75th minute of play. Verdansk Football Club's Dannes Lerma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Castells in the 76th minute of play. Dannes Lerma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Carro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joaquin Estany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to S.D Quito getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Walter Palomino hit a great ball. S.D Quito's Xaven Lortia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Bury in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, S.D Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Palomino to maneuver through the defense.
