When Marco Belber fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceilan FC's protests and gave Marco Belber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ceilan FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marco Belber hit a great ball. Zeledon Zalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Clemente Lloves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xose Cospedal. The goal made the score 1-0. Díaz Olaiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Zalona in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Atletas de Cristo's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Zalona came free, but Díaz Olaiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Agustín Arizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Díaz Olaiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletas de Cristo's Díaz Olaiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Zalona in the 27th minute of play. Zeledon Zalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Cesar Servin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xose Cospedal. Cesar Servin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Agustín Arizabal fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Xose Cospedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Lloves in the 37th minute of the match. Agustín Arizabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xose Cospedal was a little too slow when Samaniego Moraza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustín Arizabal was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Ceilan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samaniego Moraza came free, but Xose Cospedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agustín Arizabal came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ceilan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Arizabal couldn't finish the play. Xose Cospedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samaniego Moraza in the 70th minute of play. Xose Cospedal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Lloves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xose Cospedal came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas de Cristo's Cesar Servin. But to his dismay, Cesar Servin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 78th minute, Cesar Servin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samaniego Moraza during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Samaniego Moraza had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavian Agriano during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atletas de Cristo made a substitution. Klimowitz Saro replaced Samaniego Moraza. In the 92nd minute, one of Ceilan FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ceilan FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atletas de Cristo had won after a very even match.
