The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Zharzhan getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gómez Poblaciàn hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Piqueros Patas Azules's zone, Vitor Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yépez Torrent came out of the goal and Vitor Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th match minute, Los Piqueros Patas Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Aranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Costante Ferreras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yépez Torrent. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Los Piqueros Patas Azules's Xian Malsepica got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Gómez Poblaciàn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zharzhan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gómez Poblaciàn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tomas Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zharzhan's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yépez Torrent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Los Piqueros Patas Azules's zone, Costante Ferreras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yépez Torrent came out of the goal and Costante Ferreras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Dominguez Amoros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Yépez Torrent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costante Ferreras struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Yépez Torrent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zharzhan. Costante Ferreras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yépez Torrent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Ubaldo Ezquibela kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Los Piqueros Patas Azules's goalkeeper Yépez Torrent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitor Abar. Costante Ferreras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yépez Torrent having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costante Ferreras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yépez Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Marin in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Costante Ferreras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yépez Torrent was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Vitor Abar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zharzhan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Piqueros Patas Azules the free kick. Vitor Abar hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Vitor Abar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavies Aranda charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavies Aranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zharzhan booed when Los Piqueros Patas Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavies Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Piqueros Patas Azules's zone, Gómez Poblaciàn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yépez Torrent came out of the goal and Gómez Poblaciàn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Ezquibela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costante Ferreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Yépez Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Orcondona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Martinena during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Los Piqueros Patas Azules:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zharzhan:s goal. Yépez Torrent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Ferreras in the 94th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gómez Poblaciàn during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Zharzhan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
