Zharzhan's Maximo Valdeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Santos Valdero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Valdeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Emiliano Liquiñano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Valdeon. Zharzhan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Liquiñano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Calvi FC's Osorio Larrañaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Valdeon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Maximo Valdeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Valdero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Zharzhan were furious when Alejandro Marti was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zharzhan! A collision led to Zharzhan getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Costante Ferreras hit a great ball. Christobal Horcajo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 42 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Maximo Valdeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 44th minute of the match. Zharzhan's Maximo Valdeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Fandiño in the 46th minute of play. Raúl Fandiño took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Valdeon. Maximo Valdeon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Valdero in the 58th minute of play forced Zharzhan's goalkeeper Maximo Valdeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Zharzhan's Maximo Valdeon got control of the ball when Santos Valdero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gómez Poblaciàn, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Zharzhan got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Sella. Maximo Valdeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 75th minute of the match. Vinícius Junior's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximo Valdeon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maximo Valdeon made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Calvi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zharzhan.
