Calvi FC's Vinícius Junior got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinícius Junior was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Valdero in the 51st minute of play. Zayvius Bradi was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th minute, Vinícius Junior reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Quelia. The goal made the score 1-7. When the match was over Calvi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CD KMIKC throughout the match.
