Nestor Santervas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pangusion in the 14th minute of the match. Xavies Orellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabal Espinoso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Murga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zabal Espinoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of La Resistencia SC booed when Changaimina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blanco Vada didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jose Murga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Jose Murga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Resistencia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Changaimina the free kick. After the first half La Resistencia SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Pangusion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Changaimina's goalkeeper Zabal Espinoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zabal Espinoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavies Orellana in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Changaimina got a freekick which was hit by Alex Urdapileta. After 57 played minutes Jose Murga rounded Changaimina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. La Resistencia SC's Nestor Santervas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Pangusion in the 62nd minute of play. If Jose Murga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Changaimina's goalkeeper Zabal Espinoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavies Orellana. In the 93rd minute Jose Murga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Espinoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Resistencia SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
