When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Queduro made a kick off. After 52 played minutes OLIMPIA got a freekick which was hit by De-la-Cruz Dorado. 55 minutes into the match, La Resistencia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Queduro came free, but Nestor Santervas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De-la-Cruz Dorado was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Xavies Orellana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Elias Tercilla made a huge save. Elias Tercilla made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when William Descarrega sent off a good shot on target. OLIMPIA's Elias Tercilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save OLIMPIA from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the match, Jose Murga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Tercilla, 1-7. The La Resistencia SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Resistencia SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
