Xzavier Saavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Augusto Biniambres fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bombillo's protests and gave Augusto Biniambres a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Biniambres hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Benicio Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Benicio Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavier Saavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benicio Abechuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xzavier Saavedra was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Abechuco in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xzavier Saavedra saved Bombillo from getting behind. The supporters of SLEP S.C. booed when Bombillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Valenciaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xzavier Saavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Abechuco in the 42nd minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 45th minute when Benicio Abechuco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half SLEP S.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Benicio Abechuco from a close distance when the talented Xzavier Saavedra managed to make a qualified save. Bombillo's players were relieved. 53 minutes into the game, Benicio Abechuco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Xzavier Saavedra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Abechucos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Xzavier Saavedra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th play minute Benicio Abechuco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xzavier Saavedra. 0-5. 61 minutes into the match, Bombillo's goalkeeper Xzavier Saavedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Abechuco. After 65 minutes, Benicio Abechuco made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Bombillo's Xzavier Saavedra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fleitas Garate during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bombillo's Xzavier Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Gabino in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Abechuco in the 87th minute of play forced Bombillo's goalkeeper Xzavier Saavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bombillo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fleitas Garate hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Benicio Abechuco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xzavier Saavedra. The goal made the score 0-9.
