Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Queduro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mane Varandalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. OLIMPIA's Elias Tercilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save OLIMPIA from getting a goal against them. In the 67th match minute, OLIMPIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubio Domene to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Navarro Garay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Tercilla. That made the score 1-6 in the 69 minute of play. OLIMPIA's De-la-Cruz Dorado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atahualpa SC. Elias Tercilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elkin Lucena in the 76th minute of play. Elias Tercilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Navarro Garay in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Edgardo Queduro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Varandalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Tercilla made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Flavio Cotarelo sent off a good shot on target. The OLIMPIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atahualpa SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
