Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Armona in the 4th minute of play forced Atlético Estudiantil's goalkeeper Rolando Briones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bagui Viz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Briones was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Rixon Romero hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Atlético Estudiantil's Rixon Romero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rixon Romero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Estudiantil protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rixon Romero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 12th match minute, Atlético Estudiantil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rixon Romero to maneuver through the defense. If Bernardo Amurrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Warriors FC booed when Atlético Estudiantil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mijancas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Atlético Estudiantil's goal looked a bit too open when Bagui Viz came free, but Rolando Briones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atlético Estudiantil getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bernardo Amurrio hit a great ball. Rolando Briones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Armona in the 25th minute of play. Bagui Viz took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Briones. Rolando Briones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute, Blandón Lazaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Estudiantil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 36th minute, Blandón Lazaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urdaspal Areta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Miño having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bagui Viz in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético Estudiantil's goalkeeper Rolando Briones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Briones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Campos Castejana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Alejandro Armona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warriors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejandro Armona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Blandón Lazaro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Atlético Estudiantil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blandón Lazaro couldn't finish the play. Atlético Estudiantil's Bernardo Amurrio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Blandón Lazaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Estudiantil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blandón Lazaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blandón Lazaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Burbano Miño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Amurrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blandón Lazaro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burbano Miño saved Warriors FC from getting behind. Robin Bermudez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bagui Viz's late challenge caught a Atlético Estudiantil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bagui Viz helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Warriors FC got a freekick which was hit by Bagui Viz. Robin Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bagui Viz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rolando Briones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Alejandro Armona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Briones. The goal made the score 2-3. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Bagui Viz took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Rolando Briones to make any attempt to save it. 96 minutes into the match, Atlético Estudiantil's goal looked a bit too open when Campos Castejana came free, but Rolando Briones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
