Spectators: 7445 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rixon Hurdinosa kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rixon Hurdinosa in the 5th minute of play forced Trueno Negro's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independiente del Valle were furious when Leo Valpuesta was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Independiente del Valle's Leo Valpuesta got a free kick in the 13th minute. Blandón Vallino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Estarrona in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Independiente del Valle got a freekick which was hit by Aguirre Losua. Zeru Lupidana struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Blandón Vallino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trueno Negro. When Mauricio Espinola fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trueno Negro's protests and gave Mauricio Espinola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Trueno Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Espinola to maneuver through the defense. Andres Zunzunegui charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Zunzunegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Trueno Negro getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andres Zunzunegui hit a great ball. If Rodrigo Donallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Donallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Blandón Vallino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Donallo was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Donallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, Trueno Negro's Venceslao Viteri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blandón Vallino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blandón Vallino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeru Lupidana in the 56th minute of the match. Blandón Vallino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Zunzunegui in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Independiente del Valle booed when Trueno Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Zunzunegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Aguirre Losua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente del Valle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trueno Negro the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Aguirre Losua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Rodrigo Donallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trueno Negro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 80th minute, Calderón Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Trueno Negro's Rodrigo Donallo tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Andres Zunzunegui struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Blandón Vallino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trueno Negro. Blandón Vallino came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Trueno Negro's Andres Zunzunegui. But to his dismay, Andres Zunzunegui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 89 minutes into the game, Demetrio Reñe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trueno Negro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente del Valle the free kick. Demetrio Reñe hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Blandón Vallino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslao Viteri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blandón Vallino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Zunzunegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Trueno Negro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
