In the 5th minute, Demetrio Reñe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Venceslao Viteri fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trueno Negro's protests and gave Venceslao Viteri a yellow card for diving instead. Venceslao Viteri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Xavian Varsana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Mocellar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Franklin Simancas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Trueno Negro's Zeru Lupidana. But to his dismay, Zeru Lupidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Trueno Negro's Rodrigo Donallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Simancas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Andres Zunzunegui hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Xavian Varsana came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Infierno Turco de Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavian Varsana couldn't finish the play. If Venceslao Viteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Infierno Turco de Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Xacobo Serans. In the 35th minute of the match Rodrigo Donallo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Simancas skillfully saved the ball. Infierno Turco de Ecuador's Franklin Simancas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Donallo in the 36th minute of play. Zeru Lupidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodrigo Donallo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Trueno Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Donallo couldn't finish the play. Franklin Simancas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Donallo in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Trueno Negro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Donallo made a kick off. Trueno Negro's Rodrigo Donallo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Infierno Turco de Ecuador's Franklin Simancas got control of the ball when Zeru Lupidana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venceslao Viteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franklin Simancas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venceslao Viteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute Venceslao Viteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Simancas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Simancas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Viteri in the 73rd minute of play. Franklin Simancas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Rodrigo Donallo sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute of the game Eduardo Estarrona made a throw-in which Renán Urdapilleta played forward. Zeru Lupidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Franklin Simancas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Bolívar Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trueno Negro's Venceslao Viteri got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Infierno Turco de Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacobo Serans to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Donallos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Franklin Simancas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Trueno Negro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
