The supporters of Atlético Estudiantil booed when Infierno Turco de Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiallos Bravo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Simancas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blandón Lazaro in the 42nd minute of the match. Rixon Romero hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavian Varsana to make the kick off. The supporters of Infierno Turco de Ecuador booed when Atlético Estudiantil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casado Jolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavian Varsana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. It was beautiful to see Infierno Turco de Ecuador's Xavian Varsana in action when he in the 92nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 95 minutes, Hugo Mijancas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Estudiantil and the Infierno Turco de Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card.
