Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandez Cuero was the one to do the kick off. Fernandez Cuero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Xarles Burgoa made a huge save. When Telmo Antecha fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Guanabana's protests and gave Telmo Antecha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barcelona Sporting Club booed when CD Guanabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barcelona Sporting Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
