Reyes Balli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Xayvion Pinazas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reyes Balli during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reyes Balli hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Osorio Palencianos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Espínola Chinchilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Azulez F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cristian Lalo hit a great ball. Xayvion Pinazas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carcelén Elguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Osorio Palenciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Espínola Chinchilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Xinaro Ochoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Espínola Chinchilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xinaro Ochoa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, UD Romeloma's Espínola Chinchilla got control of the ball when Osorio Palenciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espínola Chinchilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Unceta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osorio Palenciano got free with Espínola Chinchilla in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Azulez F.C booed when UD Romeloma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Villalaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Lalo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Espínola Chinchilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Unceta in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of UD Romeloma booed when Azulez F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gian-Carlo Mor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Osorio Palenciano in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Espínola Chinchilla had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Mariano Unceta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espínola Chinchilla having to interfere. Azulez F.C's Fabian Zaton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Espínola Chinchilla but with some difficulty. After the first half UD Romeloma were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carcelén Elguero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Unceta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Espínola Chinchilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Reyes Balli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Fabian Zaton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Espínola Chinchilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Xinaro Ochoa came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Azulez F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xinaro Ochoa couldn't finish the play. Carcelén Elguero kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Espínola Chinchilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Unceta went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Espínola Chinchilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osorio Palenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of UD Romeloma booed when Azulez F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Chandivilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carcelén Elguero got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to UD Romeloma getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Carcelén Elguero hit a great ball. Espínola Chinchilla came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Azulez F.C's Osorio Palenciano. But to his dismay, Osorio Palenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 89th match minute, Azulez F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Unceta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osorio Palenciano in the 93rd minute of play forced UD Romeloma's goalkeeper Espínola Chinchilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Osorio Palenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azulez F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osorio Palenciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
