A hard shot by León Sibila from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Espínola Chinchilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 71 played minutes, CD Guanabana's Oscar Olloque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Espínola Chinchilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Guanabana reached it. When the final whistle sounded CD Guanabana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UD Romeloma.
