Zarando Momparte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sandro Gatell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zarbonin Hoyuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vennancio Cembraña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Felton SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alexandro Zuniga hit a great ball. Zarando Momparte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sandro Gatell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Cordero Carpio came free, but Vennancio Cembraña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Mancina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ulizes Bonechea fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Felton SC's protests and gave Ulizes Bonechea a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the game, one of Felton SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sandro Gatell had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Veremundo Gegunde's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Veremundo Gegunde scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Gatell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zarando Momparte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Veronica Valiente came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veronica Valiente couldn't finish the play. After the first half INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Cordero Carpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Ulizes Bonechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordero Carpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vennancio Cembraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordero Carpio in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alexandro Zuniga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felton SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandro Zuniga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vennancio Cembraña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rolando Mancina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Gatell made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zarando Momparte sent off a good shot on target. Vennancio Cembraña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Carpio in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cordero Carpio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Felton SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
