Omar Casaponsa started the match with the kick off. In the 2ndth minute of the game Pipo Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Portoviejo's Richard Abeita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Abeita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pipo Inzaghi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The Ornopata fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Ornopata's Pipo Inzaghi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute of the match, Pipo Inzaghi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Abeita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joaquin Loredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Richard Abeita made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Pipo Inzaghi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Inter de Portoviejo's Richard Abeita. Richard Abeita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Inter de Portoviejo booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricart Iturburu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ornopata's Wiktor Björnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Richard Abeita. That made the score 6-0 after 30 minutes of play. Joaquin Loredo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Richard Abeita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pipo Inzaghi in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richard Abeita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Abeita was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Marco Pro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Pro really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Marco Pro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Abeita having to interfere. Oswaldo Olea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipo Inzaghi in the 42nd minute of play forced Inter de Portoviejo's goalkeeper Richard Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Joaquin Loredo lined in a short shot 8-0 behind a frustrated Richard Abeita. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match Ornopata got a corner. Inter de Portoviejo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricart Iturburu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pipo Inzaghi made a great header on Ornopata's corner, it was just that Inter de Portoviejo's Richard Abeita managed to reach the ball for a save. Marco Pro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Abeita. Richard Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Pipo Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Portoviejo's Richard Abeita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wiktor Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Joaquin Loredo put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Abeita. Richard Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Loredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Marco Pro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Richard Abeita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Pipo Inzaghi put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Abeita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pro in the 88th minute of play forced Inter de Portoviejo's goalkeeper Richard Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Pro took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Abeita. Richard Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ornopata fully deserved thier win.
