The supporters of La Naranja Mecánica ® booed when Liga de Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Urroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Claudio Mascire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silvio Morelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samaniego Tobalina made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victoro Garrote immediately put the ball in play. Dennis Tabliega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Claudio Mascire made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Morelo. Liga de Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Samaniego Tobalina hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tyrone Requena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Silvio Morelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Tabliega charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Tabliega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Tabliega. Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Requena in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zilar Barcena during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iza Olmos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iza Olmos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iza Olmos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Samaniego Tobalina made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Naranja Mecánica ®'s Simon Manrique. Silvio Morelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Mascire in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Mascire in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Morelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Requena in the 54th minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Silvio Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Naranja Mecánica ®'s Teo Moroño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save La Naranja Mecánica ® from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Claudio Mascire notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo. Silvio Morelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 63 minutes, Victoro Garrote managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liga de Quito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoro Garrote was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's Zilar Barcena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Moroño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoro Garrote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoro Garrote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Moroño having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Zilar Barcena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liga de Quito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zilar Barcena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes, Diaz Palenzuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Naranja Mecánica ® and the Liga de Quito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, La Naranja Mecánica ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diaz Palenzuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Rodrigo Ayllon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Naranja Mecánica ®'s Teo Moroño didn't even have to move. If Zilar Barcena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Iza Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Morelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Mascire in the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Mascire came free, but Silvio Morelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zilar Barcena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Moroño having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Claudio Mascire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Morelo. Liga de Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Mascire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There was no doubt that La Naranja Mecánica ® were the better team. La Naranja Mecánica ®'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
