Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Somonte took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Lambros Vlastos threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Naranja Mecánica ®'s Teo Quiroz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cosimo Moreschi's late challenge caught a La Naranja Mecánica ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Moreschi helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave La Naranja Mecánica ® a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudio Mascire, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Equidad's Feliciano Natanael. 1-0. Peter Somonte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Moroño having to interfere. Teo Moroño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Albiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zagrodny came free, but Teo Moroño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Andrzej Zagrodny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Moroño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Equidad fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Equidad's Mauro Albiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Albiz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Moroño saved La Naranja Mecánica ® from getting behind. La Naranja Mecánica ®'s Teo Moroño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zagrodny in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Albiz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Moroño saved La Naranja Mecánica ® from getting behind. Peter Somonte scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Moroño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the La Naranja Mecánica ® defense, Andrzej Zagrodny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Moroño. The La Naranja Mecánica ® fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Moroño should have stopped the shot. When Equidad's Peter Somonte in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Equidad were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Mascire was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Somonte in the 59th minute of play forced La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goalkeeper Teo Moroño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Mecánica ®'s zone, Mauro Albiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Moroño came out of the goal and Mauro Albiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Peter Somonte came free, but Teo Moroño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Equidad's Peter Somonte in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goalie prevented a goal. La Naranja Mecánica ®'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Peter Somonte 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Peter Somonte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teo Moroño came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Somonte slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Andrzej Zagrodny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Albiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Teo Moroño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, La Naranja Mecánica ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Lavet to maneuver through the defense. Bobby Dheedene who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Teo Moroño when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Somonte in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Moroño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The La Naranja Mecánica ® fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Equidad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
