The audience was convinced that Xavierlada Servin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaviedes Flames was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 27 minutes of play, Leoncios Sporting Club's Astor Nesto made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabel Torra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Lesardo in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Lesardo in the 40th minute of play forced Arosemena SC's goalkeeper Xabel Torra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xabel Torra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Xabel Torra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Lesardo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Nesto was the one to do the kick off.
