A hard shot 7 in the game by Fernando Maluenda from a close distance when the talented Emilio Gregorio managed to make a qualified save. Cacagual's players were relieved. In the 9th minute of the match, Fernando Maluenda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emilio Gregorio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emilio Gregorio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Urdaspal Limofer. After 19 played minutes Cacagual got a freekick which was hit by Elias Xavier. In the 20th minute, Xofre Fortis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candelario Luaces in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Gregorio saved Cacagual from getting behind. Francisco Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óskar Angileri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Ovando Varsana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Gregorio. Cacagual's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovando Varsana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. UD Lluillan's Óskar Angileri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bautista in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, UD Lluillan's Candelario Luaces made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Gregorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of UD Lluillan booed when Cacagual was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. UD Lluillan's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Maluenda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Gregorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovando Varsana in the 61st minute of play forced Cacagual's goalkeeper Emilio Gregorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Fernando Maluenda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacagual's Emilio Gregorio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Fernando Maluenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacagual's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. UD Lluillan's supporters rose to their feet, but Candelario Luaces was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Gregorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Candelario Luaces came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the UD Lluillan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candelario Luaces couldn't finish the play. Ramon Fariñas's late challenge caught a UD Lluillan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Fariñas helped the player get up and apologised. UD Lluillan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
