Francisco Morais's late challenge caught a UD Shaglli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoelvis Mulas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Gregorio. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After 25 played minutes UD Shaglli got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Argos. Alonso Tebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoelvis Mulas in the 30th minute of play. Cacagual's Emilio Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Temes in the 33rd minute of play. If Francisco Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Emilio Gregorio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th play minute Ruperto Temes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Gregorio. 2-0. After 40 played minutes Cacagual got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Montecino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Ozollo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UD Shaglli's Marco Ozollo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Fernando Garate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Bautista made a kick off. When Francisco Morais was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Cacagual's Francisco Morais got a free kick in the 51st minute. Leonardo Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Alexander Bautista had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 55 minutes, Juan Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Temes couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Ruperto Temes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, UD Shaglli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Argos to maneuver through the defense. If Ruperto Temes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ruperto Temes managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Shaglli's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Temes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Gregorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
