Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) Rolando Cagigal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. David Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Miguel González Bengtsson in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Guayaquil City getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Yépez Eraña hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Sandro Tobalina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Avalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Roman Larrauri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Águilas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rolando Cagigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guayaquil City's David Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Miguel González Bengtsson in the 16th minute of play. Juan Miguel González Bengtsson took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Avalos. David Avalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mateo Cabada charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Cabada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateo Cabada hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Mateo Cabada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayaquil City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Cabada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rolando Cagigal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Avalos was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Águilas FC from getting a goal against them. David Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Cagigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Avalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Larrauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Mateo Cabada came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Guayaquil City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Cabada couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Fiallos Almiron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Cagigal got free with David Avalos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Franquesa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Adrian Franquesa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayaquil City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Águilas FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Adrian Franquesa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guayaquil City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Cagigal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Adrian Franquesa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Roman Larrauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. David Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Avalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Stoleru went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Mateo Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Águilas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
