Xuban Coloma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Vergaray Coronado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guerrón Estrada in the 9th minute of play forced Los Toreros's goalkeeper Vergaray Coronado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Leza kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Barros Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libertad Virues in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Los Toreros getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zernin Osuna hit a great ball. Christian Bazo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RickyLec's zone, Libertad Virues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barros Pascua came out of the goal and Libertad Virues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Oscar Leza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Toreros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Leza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vergaray Coronado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zuñiga Naranjo. In the 35th minute, Bone Beamud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RickyLec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Libertad Virues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Barros Pascua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Libertad Virues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RickyLec's Xuban Coloma got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xuban Coloma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vergaray Coronado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Los Toreros's Oscar Leza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barros Pascua. Barros Pascua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Los Toreros's goal looked a bit too open when Xuban Coloma came free, but Vergaray Coronado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barros Pascua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Leza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Libertad Virues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barros Pascua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
